Senior Boys Volleyball

On Tuesday, October 21, the Brennan Senior Boys Volleyball team traveled out to Amherstburg to take on the General Amherst Bull Dogs. The boys lost a tough one in the first set by a close score of 25-23, and never seemed to recover. The following two sets were lost as well. The boys worked hard, and kept up for all the games, but just got the short end of the stick. Offensive player of the game was Evan Mihalic, while the defensive player of the game was Jared Beens, showing his usual hustle and leadership all game. The boys take on Villanova next.

On Thursday October 23, Brennan took on the Villanova volleyball team at Brennan. Being challenged by the best team in the league, and debatably one of the top teams in Ontario, Brennan held their own pretty well, but still lost all three sets, by scores of 25-14, 25-19, and 25-17. Offensive player of the game was Mackenzie, coming in with clutch kills, and consistent serves all night. Defensive player of the game was Ryan, staying strong against the powerful Villanova serves and hits.
