Junior Boys Football

On Wednesday October 29th, the Cards were pinned against the Belle River Nobels.  Despite a good overall effort by the Cards, they couldn’t convert plays and lost by a score of 6-3.  Brennan’s own Cole Truant provided a 30 yard field goal to open the scoring.  Shortly after this both teams saw an offensive struggle in a see-saw battle.  Both teams took advantage of mistakes the other made, specifically the Nobels when Brennan made some bad tackles on a punt return.  This led to the games only touchdown, and Cody B. blocked the extra point.   Despite the clear effort the Cards were putting out, they were not able to get a major score.  Austin S. intercepted a Belle River pass as the Cards defense frustrated the Belle River offense.  This loss puts the Cards’ record at 3 wins 4 losses, placing 5th during the regular season.  A semi-final game will be held at Brennan against Villanova.  Come out and cheer on the Cards next week. GO Cards!!
