On Friday October 31st, the Brennan Senior Boys Volleyball team took on Leamington in the first round of playoff action. The boys started off strong in the first set, putting together 12 points in a row, and looking hot. But eventually cooled down and ended up losing the first set. They then lost the second set, but bounced back for a good third set, winning handedly. The fourth set was a battle, but the boys lost a heartbreaker, with a final score of 25-23. This ended the Cards season. Offensive MVP was Eric Kirby, while the defensive MVP was Evan Mihalic. The boys gave it their all in a tough season against much bigger schools with more experience in their players. They are looking to bounce back next year with more chemistry, and grit.
