Boys Hockey

On January 16th, the Senior Boys Hockey team faced off against General Amherst at the Libro Center for their 7th game of the year, and they came out on top. The boys were leading 2-0 throughout the game until 1:37 left when Amherst scored.  However, the boys held their ground behind Lucas Lalonde’s 2 goals and Josh Breaults stellar performance in net. Way to go boys!

Boys Hockey

On January 13th, 2015, the Brennan Boys Hockey team took on Holy Names at South Windsor Arena. The boys jumped off to an early lead with a goal from Lucas Lalonde, followed by another goal from Michael Douglas to take a 2-0 lead. The boys were unable to hold on to the lead after they took a couple bad penalties and ended up tying the game 2-2. Player of the game was Lucas Lalonde, who had a great first game back from injury.  Josh Breault also played quite well. The boys’ next game is the against General Amherst on January 15th.

Junior Boys Basketball

The Brennan Junior Boys Basketball team went on the road to Assumption high school to play their first game of the week on Tuesday January 13th.  Brennan had a tough game, losing 36-65.  Revart had 8 points for Brennan.

The boys then played Tecumseh Vista Academy at home on Thursday January 15th. The boys had a huge win, winning by one basket 42-40. Eric Martinez and Austin Robinson led the team with 13 points, and Mark Dahma had 10 points. The Brennan boys hope to take wins against Essex next Monday.

Junior Girls Volleyball

On Tuesday January 13th, the Brennan Junior Girls hosted the Riverside Rebels and unfortunately lost two sets to one.  Also, on Thursday January 15th, the Brennan Junior Girls hosted the Holy Names Knights and lost two sets to one.  

Senior Girls Volleyball

The Sr.Girls Volleyball team played the Riverside Rebels at Brennan winning 2 out of the 3 sets played. The scores were 25-20, 25-18 and 17-25. This is the first win that the Senior Girls have had this season, so it was a huge success.

Brennan Senior Boys Basketball

On Thursday January 8th, the Sr Boys Basketball team faced off against Lajeunesse and came out with a victory by a score of 62-54. Landon Porter led the team with 37 points, Pren Duhanaj had 10 points, and Josh Martire also scored 10 points. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BOYS!.

Senior Girls Volleyball

On Thursday January 8th marked the Senior Girls Volleyball game between Brennan and Massey.  A hard fought battle by the Cardinals, but unfortunately they fell just short 2-1 in sets.  Brennan came out of the first set with a 25-23 win and lost the second set 25-12.  After regrouping the girls came out strong for the third set.  Despite the effort that was later applauded by the game’s officials, they lost the set 25-20.  Great effort by both teams made a good game.  Good game girls and good luck in your next match against Riverside on the 13th of January.

Junior Girls Volleyball

On January 9th, the Junior Girls Volleyball team played Massey, unfortunately coming up short. They split the matches 2-1, and won the third set 26-24.

Junior Boys Basketball

The Brennan Junior Boys Basketball team played Lajeunesse on Thursday, January 8th, 2015 in their own gym. The score of the game was Lajeunesse 53 Brennan 33. They look to win their next game on Tuesday, January 13th, 2015 against Assumption. Go Cards go!

Junior Boys Basketball

This week the Brennan Junior Boys Basketball team played Belle River on Tuesday, December the 9th.  They played at Belle River. The final score was Belle River 36,  Brennan 26. Robinson lead the team with 12 points.

The Brennan Junior Boys Basketball team traveled to L'essor for their second game of the week on Thursday, December 11th. The boys lost to L'essor 39-52.  Martinez had the most points on the team with 15, and Bourdeau had the second most points with 9.  The boys look to take a win against Walkerville in their next game.  


Senior Boys Basketball

On Thursday December 11th the Sr Boys Basketball team defeated L'Essor by a score of 80-33. Landon Porter lead the team putting up 24 points, Pren Duhanaj scored 17, and Josh Martire added 16. The boys are hoping to improve their record next game against Walkerville.
